Huge calves can be a result of intense exercises but believe it or not, calf sizes are mostly due to genetics. It is difficult to gain calf muscles and as difficult to lose them.

Huge calf muscles may seem harmless and not anywhere life-threatening, it could cause hinder to daily lives. Issues like not being able to fit into pants that are too narrow or taking heavier steps while on the go due to the weight of the muscles can make an everyday activity a chore to perform.

 

As much as it’s a functional body part for mobility, sometimes more is not always better. If it’s causing hindrance, it may be a sign for an intervention.
